complications and contraindications.
- Informed consent.
- Safety and sedation
during colonoscopy.
- Colonoscope design,
function accessories and handling.
- Diathermy theory and
safety.
- Basic colonoscopy
technique.
- Biopsy and polypectomy.
- Management of an
endoscopy unit.
Format:
Hands-on experience by performing four
colonoscopies over the three days supported by lectures,
discussion and videos.
Duration:
Three days.
